design follows
established
guidelines for
all-ceramic
restorations.

Preparation
Requirements:
- Occlusal
reduction
of 2.0mm
- Axial
reduction
of 1.5mm
- Minimal
axial
taper
of 3°
on each
axial
wall
- Shoulder
or heavy
chamfer
margins
of 1.0mm
width
- internal
and
external
line
angles
should
be rounded.
- Bridge
and
splinted
restorations
should
have
preparations
that
have
parallel
paths
of insertion.

Cementation
can be accomplished
using traditional
C&B methods
and materials.
Cercon crowns
may also be
bonded with
resin cement
if desired,
but is not necessary
for clinical
success.
