State
Of The Industry
Crown &
Bridge Materials
To fabricate
a custom restoration
from your impression,
we utilize the
finest materials
available to
dental lab technology
today. From
stones and waxes
to alloys and
porcelain, we
look for materials
that are easy
to work with
and provide
the best end
result.
Recent
Innovations,
Changes, and
Improvements
Porcelain:
Other than
the advent
of the metal-free
all ceramic
technology,
advances have
also been
made in the
traditional
porcelains
used to bond
to metal.
The addition
of non-traditional
materials
such as leucite
and opal compounds
have given
porcelains
better strength
and more vitality.
But the biggest
advances have
been made
in the firing
temperatures
and cycles
of traditional
feldspathic
porcelains.
Most of the
manufacturers
now offer
a "low
fusing"
porcelain
which fires
at a lower
temperature
and thus results
in a "softer"
wear factor.
While all
porcelains
eventually
wear enamel,
these low
fusing materials
will be kinder
to opposing
dentition.
- Dental alloys:
In the past
several years
there have
been many
advances in
the dental
alloys offered.
The major
shifts have
been in the
improvement
of noble,
silver-palladium
alloys and
the increased
use of the
high noble
yellow gold
alloys for
porcelain
application.
An Old Technique
Revived and
New Technology
You
are asked by
many patients
to make sure
no metal shows
in their new
crown. We can
construct a
PFM with no
metal collars
at all; completely
covering the
metal with porcelain.
This is not
a porcelain
butt-joint margin,
we simply cover
all exposed
metal with the
porcelain. It
requires a little
more effort
on our part
in the building
phase, but actually
makes it easier
to finish (no
metal margins
to polish).
We have had
such good feedback
from our accounts
that are using
this routinely
that we now
offer this service
to you at no
additional charge.
Ideal margins
would be chamfer.
With the addition
of the microscopes,
computerized
milling machine,
and laser welder,
our C&B
department has
taken their
craft to the
next level in
technology.
This new equipment
gives us the
advantage of
consistently
better fits,
improved contour
and design,
and exceptional
strength.
Key Advantages
To Working with
our C&B
Department
There are three
key reasons
to give our
C&B Dept.
and opportunity
to be a part
of your team:
- Exceptional
service. We
make it easy
to send us
work. There
is always
someone here
who knows
what is going
on with your
case. We spend
more time
than most
on the phone
communicating
with you and
your staff
about case
designs, recommendations,
and suggestions.
We deliver
99% of our
cases within
6 working
days.
- Product
Support. We
stay abreast
of the current
technology
and insure
that we are
utilizing
the best available
materials
and equipment
to do the
best job for
you and your
patients.
- Quality
Goals. While
most labs
claim high
quality, we
admit that
we sometimes
make mistakes.
But, our commitment
is to do whatever
is necessary
to improve
ourselves
to ultimately
provide you
with the best
restoration
possible.
Through on-site
training and
continuing
education
programs from
respected
facilities
such as the
Panke Institute,
our goal is
to keep our
technicians
on the cutting
edge with
their skills.
Our Fee Structure
While our fees
may not be the
lowest in the
industry, there
are certainly
higher priced
laboratories
out there. Our
fees are all-inclusive
and include
model and dies,
articulation,
and alloy. We
feel that our
fees are more
than fair based
on the services,
products, and
support we provide.
We are Full
Service!
Besides the
traditional
PFM and full-cast
restorations,
we offer the
latest in all-ceramics
(Empress, Eris,
Procera, and
Cercon), reinforced,
